We reached out to Heron Cabinetry after seeing a beautiful custom vinyl/record cabinet they made on their social media. We wanted a similar design but something to fit a particular space in our home. Craig was extremely responsive and worked closely with us to create the cabinet design of our dreams. He gave us ideas for handles and hinges, and was extremely flexible about our wood and color options. Everything was customizable. He walked us through the process, visited to see the space, and gave us updates along the way. After his seamless installation this weekend, we can't get over how much we love it in our home. It fits great in the space, as designed, and the finish is of spectacular quality. We are so excited to have this beautiful piece in our home. Craig TRANSFORMED my 1931 beachside bungalow's kitchen and bathroom from structurally moribund disaster to a gleaming dream with modern fittings in that coastal period look I wanted! The project, once started, yielded many unwelcome surprises in the bones of my house that needed fundamental correction, but Craig calmly tackled each problem in turn. That being said, it is the custom cabinetry that really sets my bathroom and kitchen apart. You can find many pre-fab cabinets out there, but an all wood, custom fitted layout is the way to go. Furthermore, he has remained available to add additional shelves after the fact with matching specifications, so it looks like it all went up at the same time. Craig has a good eye for space and utilized my natural lighting and limited square footage to maximum effect, matching aesthetic with functionality. I know we increased the value of my home in the future, but more importantly, I love and use my space with pride in the here and now! Andrew O.
